It’s that time of year to put on your woolly gloves and light your sparklers in celebration of bonfire night. To help your night go with a bang, we’ve selected some of the best firework displays lighting up the Cornish skies…

Fistral Beach, Newquay

Experience a firework display on the world famous Fistral beach, Cornwall’s surfing capital. See the vibrant colours light up the sky but be sure to wrap up warm and bring your sparklers for a fun filled evening.

Watergate Bay

Wax Restaurant in Watergate Bay are hosting their first spectacular firework party on the 4th November. Described as ‘Newquay’s biggest ever firework display’ the event will host raffles, BMX demonstrations, music and stands selling hot drinks and food.  The event will raise money for local organisations.

Saturday 4 November 2017.

7pm – 10pm.

Well Parc, Trevone 

Keep warm by the roaring fire whilst you say ‘Oooo’ and ‘Ahhhhh’ at the shooting firework display in Trevone, near Padstow. A fantastic event for the whole family, Well Parc offers evening music and entertainment as well as a Cornish BBQ to tuck into. Trevone firework display has got it all going on.

Tickets to this event are £4 per person.

Sunday 5th November 2017.

Bonfire lit at 6.30pm, fireworks kick off 7.30pm. 

Newquay Sports Centre, Newquay

Back with a bang for 2017, the Sports Centre’s firework show kicks off from 7pm. This is the towns official display and although there will be no bonfire, viewers can expect a glittery show that will really wow the crowd.

This is a free event. Gates will be open from 6.30pm, there will be no parking on site.

Blue Bar, Porthtowan Beach

Blue Bar will be lighting up the skies above Porthtowan beach Sunday 29th October. Expect lots of whistles and whooshes with their annual display perfect for the whole family. This is a free event, viewers are advised to get their early

6pm to 9pm.

Bude Rugby Club, Bude

Enjoy bonfire night in Bude, located in beautiful North Cornwall. Serving up mulled wine to keep you feeling cosy, Bude Rugby Club are putting on a display bigger and better than ever. The night kicks off at 6.30pm with the lighting of the bonfire, followed by fireworks at 7pm. Make sure you grab a bite to eat at BBQ.
